Our mission is powered by the desire to create a new generation of healthy citizens. Our programs provide greens and gardens for free to communities where there is a high density of nutrition insecure people.

Jeffrey Miller is the owner of Landscape and Beyond and 1-800-SAVE-WATER in San Diego. Jeff has spent more than 25 years in the landscape industry, championing sustainable design, water conservation, and the joy of gardening. Inspired by a belief that healthy food should be within everyone’s reach, he founded the nonprofit Mama Bear to share free microgreens with families in need.
